  2. Before Experiment • Create table in your book to track 4 trials, amount of suds produced • Choose partner (pairs) • Set up: • 4 test tubes • Test tube stand • 2 stoppers • Ruler • Pen • 4 Samples

Does all water behave the same way when soap is added? • Arrange test tubes, label each A,B,C and D. • Fill each test tube 1/3 full with the labeled solution. • Draw line (“baseline”) on tubes at top of sample. • Add one drop of liquid soap to each tube. • Stopper and shake each tube 10 times. • Measure the height of suds from the baseline to the top of the suds. • Record results in table. Rank their sudsiness.
