Holiday Traditions-Easter People in Italy celebrate Easter differently from other countries. In Italy they make oversized hollow chocolate eggs and they also hide a surprise inside. Italian people put these eggs in the windows of shops. Every year many people gather in Saint Peter`s Basilica at 5pm on Good Friday for mass. On Easter Sunday they have a parade with 150 soldiers including a group of people that are pulling a 30-foot tall antique cart.
