  2. The war was between the southern region and northern. Southern Vietnam had help from the US. 40,000 soldiers were sent to Vietnam. Many refugees came to Australia during and after the Vietnam war. North Vietnam won the war.

  3. Millions of people have immigrated to Australia since 1788. People came to Australia by boat until the invention of the plane in the 1970s. SHOULD AUSTRALIA ALLOW IMMIGRATION TO CONTINUE? People migrate to a different country to seek a better life.

  5. Australia is a country made up of many different cultures. People came to Australia because they were of war or they were looking for a better life. If immigration had never existed than Australia wouldn’t be as multicultural as it is today.

  6. The White Australian policy is a policy that only allows white people into the country. Started in 1901 Ended in 1973 The Officer had to check the migrants hands, eyes and skin colour to determine weather the person was black or Asian. This was the law created by the new federal government.
