  14. Campus Ministry Funding • No Formula for Fundraising!!!! • How I did, what I did • In debt plus Conference cutting my budget • Barely existent Board of Directors • No Alum list • No active volunteers, no active churches

  15. Campus Ministry Funding • Had to do something, anything • Endowment plan • $500/year for 10 years • 100 commitments from individuals, churches, Sunday school classes, Men’s Groups, Women’s Groups, etc • $50,000/year X 10 years = $500,000 • Actually = just over $700,000

  16. Campus Ministry Funding • Publicity • Newspapers • Pulpits • Newsletters • The Flywheel • Eventually the publicity does itself • The Tipping Point • Money coming in from people I didn’t know
