  9. Virtual Portfolio Groups • Small Groups consist of 5 people • Online Virtual portfolio with $10,000 per group www.stockquest.com • Trades cost $10 • Purchase up to as many as 6 stocks > $5.00 • Have to hold stocks for at least 24 hours • 3 out of 5 is majority for decision making

  16. Question & Answer • What is the difference between a correction and a bear market? • Acorrection is basically any pullback in the major market indexes, even a minor one. An intermediate correction is one in which the market declines 10% to 20%. And normally any market decline of 20% or more is considered a bear market. • But for weeks, stocks have been under selling pressure, which finally knocked the NASDAQ to its first 10% correction since the March 2003 bottom

  21. Diversification • Do not buy a lot of different stocks that you don’t know much about. • Its hard to keep up with 10 stocks daily. • Stick to stocks that are LEADERS in the strongest Industry groups. • Stick to the best stocks
