They need to add, subtract, multiply, and divide without a calculator on a daily basis. This can be done during dinner, while driving to town, as a game instead of watching T.V. or playing video games, etc.

  6. Major concepts to be taught:

  7. Science Fair Project Due January 10, 2014 View J. Williams’ website for more information or e-mail Ms. Williams at jenniferwilliams@wcps.org

  8. Grade Level Expectations • Complete all assignments on time. • Students are responsible for make-up work when absent or missing a class. • Students have 5 days to complete and turn in assignments. • Respect others at all times. • Return all documentation in a timely manner. • Progress reports • Pictures • Report cards • Offense letters • Refer to dress code policy. • Check teacher websites daily.

  9. Fundraising Made Easy • Apply for a Target School Reward Card – it is like your bank card and the school receives a percentage of the purchase and you receive a discount for using the card. Apply when you check out. It is very easy. • Apply for a Harris Teeter School Reward Card – Apply, use, and the school receives a percentage of the purchases made. • Our recent fundraiser did not meet the school wide goal set. However, students reaching their goal will be given a party prior to Christmas break.

  10. 7th Grade Fundraiser • 7th Grade will be selling raffle tickets to win a 3ft gas pig cooker. • Tickets are $5.00 a piece. • The grill will be green (not red like in the picture) • Profits will go to supporting the 7th grade with • Supplies for the classroom • Cutting down cost for field trip
