The successful integration of hydrogen testing in the MICE Hall is contingent upon completing the required infrastructure. Key milestones include finalizing the Hydrogen Hall setup before commencing cryostat tests, which can begin with Helium. We aim to complete hydrogen tests by year-end, despite potential scheduling conflicts with the second EMR run in December. Critical tasks involve repositioning the hydrogen gas panel and understanding the EMC's timeline. Additionally, the step IV base plate installation must happen between ISIS user runs, while we explore options for conducting AFC tests and field mapping in R9.

Schedule concerns • Hydrogen Hall infrastructure must be complete before we can do cryostat tests with Hydrogen (we can begin with Helium). • We want to get Hydrogen tests done before the end of the year, possible clash with potential 2nd EMR run in December. • Need to re-position the Hydrogen gas panel before commencing with AFC tests in the step IV position, Do we completely understand what this involves? • Need EMR to understand their schedule to determine whether we do a second run in December 2011 or sometime in 2012 (the MICE hall will be shut for integration work during these data talking runs). • Need to do step IV base plate installation between ISIS user runs (Aug and Nov). Need to get moving platform installed before AFC test in the MICE hall (Feb 2012). • Can we do AFC tests, field mapping etc in R9? • Potential clash with AFC hydrogen tests and arrival of the Spectrometer in the MICE hall (March 2012).
