Convergence? • Convergence- when people come together through the media adapting to the latest digital technology and developing the idea of using the latest media that is ranged to the audience. • For example a media institution such as ITV have had to develop and converge themselves across the three media platforms to keep the audience enticed, as todays diverse audience also watch channels on tablets, phones and their main website. ITV have converged from broadcast to E-media for example, as they want to widen their approach to expanding their popularity. From approaching E-media, ITV have enabled their audience to rewatch their favorite programs such as TOWIE over and over again; enabling easy access to whatever they want to watch.

  3. Transformers was firstly produced as comic magazines where it would then be converged into a movie with advertising techniques such as billboard, the main website etc.
