  2. What are Automobiles? A self-propelled passenger vehicle that usually has four wheels and an internal-combustion engine, used for land transport. Also called motorcar.

  3. The history Automobiles • If you think that Henry Ford created the earliest automobile, it might surprise you to learn that he didn’t. Automobiles, or motor vehicles, owe their existence to many people from different countries. The debut of the first successful self-powered vehicle occurred in France in 1769 .This was a heavy, steam powered monster that weighed 4 tons and had a top speed of only 2 miles per hour.

  4. The Good Things About automobiles Having a car means you can go faster, which means getting to your destination quicker. You can listen to your favorite song and rock up at party's. It gives you more freedom and independence. They take you were you wanted .

  5. The Bad things about automobiles • Pollution, due to exhaust from automobiles. • Demand over gas causes wars in which many people have lost lives. • Car accidents due to alcohol and reckless driving. • Depletion of natural resources such as oil. • Dependence, society couldn't live without automobiles because mass transit systems aren't capable of transporting the entire population. • If you have ever lost someone to an automobile accident. • Communities have to build new roads, highways, and car garages.

  6. What types of energy is used in cars? • Chemical energy used in propelling cars. • Chemical energy used in storing and releasing electrical (battery) energy. • Mechanical energy used to make electrical power to recharge the battery / batteries, and other systems. • Fluid power used to convert engine rpm to driveshaft rpm (in automatic transmissions). • Fluid power used to dampen "surges" in crankshaft. • Fluid power used (in some cases) to convert steering wheel motion to steerable wheel angle. • Electrical energy used to power ignition, lights, radio, and so on.

  7. how do car cause air pollution? Vehicles can cause air pollution by the fumes and exhaust coming from the tail pipe. It will go to the air and when someone/something breathes it in, they could get sick. Car produce carbon dioxide in the air and some harmful gases too. Gases like carbon dioxide, carbon mono oxide, sulfur etc .This make lead to air pollution. Due to this we are facing the crisis of global warming.

  8. My favorite Car My favorite car is Bentley Continental GT V8. Either way – according to the EPA, the 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 gets an estimated 15/24mpg(city/highway) and 18 mpg combined. Based on 45% highway, 55% city driving, 15,000 annual miles and current fuel prices, it will cost you $5.69 to drive 25 miles and you will end up paying $3,400 in annual fuel cost. http://www.insideline.com/bentley/continental-gt/2012/videos/2012_bentley_continental-gt_ot_111.html
