  2. Background of the first bridges going across the seven River • The Severn has two bridges that cross it. One is called Severn River Bridge that was built first in 1886. The other bridge is called US Naval Academy Bridge because it ends near the academy. the latter bridge was built as a drawbridge in the late 1920s.

  3. Reason why to make a new bridge • The ecological survey will be constructed to justify a potential construction site for a new bridge on the Severn River to have less traffic and congestions. The Severn River bridges are causing more problems with bad traffic.

  4. New Location: will be connecting from one high way to another to have traffic travel easier

  5. Cost: 10 million dollarsThe time spent: 5 years

  6. Background: Ecosystem • The river runs for over of 81 square miles (210 km2), or 69 square miles (180 km2) of land and the water that is input into the river is freshwater from Severn run. But there are bad problems with the river and there been overfishing population.

  7. Plants and animals around the Severn River • Shadbush flowers • Sassafras • Algae • Blue crabs • Wood ducks • Seaweed • Stripped bass

  9. Abiotic Factors • The temperature change • PH Level may effect the organisms in shallow waters • Bridges • Traffic • Soil • Run off • Water
