If you’re interested, please sign up at the PTPF table located outside • Help in the classroom, in the office, or even from the comfort of your own home. Check out the enclosed sign-up sheet for times and return tonight or later. • Need a few volunteers to help collate workbooks over the weekend. Please sign the books out using the forms in the back of the classroom

  6. How are absences /tardieshandled? • Absences (sick) • Call the office (559-4400) to notify them of the absence. During “off hours”, leave a message. • I prefer making up short-term missed work upon the student’s return to class • Make up work: 2 days are given for every 1 day absence • Most importantly rest and get better • Tardies: • Parents, please walk your child to the office and get a tardy slip from the office before coming to class.

  7. At School: • Give me a note with the day you want to celebratea day or two ahead of time if you wish to bring treats. • Classroom celebrations should be 15-20 minutes long. Keep treats fun and simple . No goody bags, please. • At Home: • Mail invitations unless the entire class is invited. • Summer: • If your child has a summer birthday, feel free to pick any date to celebrate your child’s special day.

  8. Our class motto!

How do I drop off and pick up my child? • Follow the police officer’s directions - safety • Please drop off your child from the green loading zone of our parking lot- pull forward • You may drop your child off at 7:45 am or later. • Children dropped off before 7:45 am need to sign in to daycare. • When picking up your child, you need a visor sign. Enclosed are 2 visor signs. • Refrain from talking/texting/etc. on your cell phone. Safety Note: Do not give out the back gate code to students. • Be patient with the traffic during the first two weeks of school…it always gets better!
