Strategies to achieve the vision • A consistent approach to presenting Scotland's brand “The Home of Golf” • Gathering quality visitor data • Strengthen industry leadership • Co-ordinated regional development groups • Improve the quality of the visitor experience • Maximise impacts from hosting major golf events • Promote sustainable golf club and course management

Actions to date • “The Home of Golf” Brand Toolkit • Enhanced Golf Monitor site – Scottish Golf Intelligence • Pilot Visitor Data Gathering project underway • GTS 3 Year Business & Action Plan • 3 New Regional Golf Development Groups • 3 Scottish Golf (SGU & SLGA) Club Development Officers • 80 Scottish golf clubs embedded in SGU & SLGA Business Planning Process and

Actions to date • 91 Club representatives attended Management Development Programme (MDP) • 12 clubs supported by SGU and Scottish Enterprise with Tee Time Booking and over 130 clubs now using TTB • 20 Clubs supported by Scottish Enterprise On The Tee Visitor Experience Programme and support committed through to 2015 for clubs • Destination Golf Marketing Activity Plan underway • Team Scotland attending IGTM November 2013 (VS lead) & PGA Show and Scotland Golf Day 2014 (GTS lead) • Scotland hosted the 10th KPMG Golf Forum 2013
