The bank descends from the Bank of Calcutta, founded in 1806, via the Imperial Bank of India, making it the oldest commercial bank in the Indian subcontinent. THE ASK Manage the merger of five of SBI’s subsidiary banks and Bharatiya Mahila Bank to make it a global-sized bank. Subsidiary banks involved in the merger State Bank of Patiala (founded 1917) State Bank of Mysore (founded 1913) State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (founded 1963) State Bank of Hyderabad (founded 1941) State Bank of Travancore (founded 1945) THE SOLUTION AGX managed projects in 16 cities across India, including Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur, Bhopal, Amaravati, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Patna, Kerala. THE RESULTS 40% of the project was managed by AGX. 1469 branches and 2189 ATMs covered across India. KEY TAKEAWAY The corporate reimaging roll out required detailed planning and execution at all levels. We worked with various stakeholders right from individual branches and regions, to the operations and marketing team based out of the headquarters. We addressed the custom size and vernacular language requirements and we provided timely and high quality executions to MIS reporting.
