Also there is a variety of staff employees, providing paralegal, clerical, and other support services.  • Regarding the termination, it is unusual for a partner to be forced out by fellow partners, unless until if the partner commits a crime or malpractice, disruptive mental illness, or not capable for contributing to the firm's overall profitability. • Due to the competition, making a partner is very prestigious at large or midsized law firms.
