  2. Module 5 Using Contacts

  3. “Contacts” and “Contact Groups” are people or organizations you frequently fax. • Your Administrator must create them and make them available to you. • The only time you access them is when you send a fax. • Let’s look at how that works.

  4. Adding Contacts To Your Recipient List • To use Contacts when sending a fax, choose the “Advanced” option • Your available Contacts are shown in the Contact List • To add a Contact to the Recipient List, click the green “add” icon • The Contact will now be displayed in the Recipient List • To remove the Contact from the Recipient List, click the red “minus” icon

  5. Understanding the Contact List • A green “add” icon indicates the Contact can be added to the Recipient List • This user does not have permission to fax to an international number • This is a Contact Group • The number of domestic Contacts in the Group are indicated by the blue icon • The number of international Contacts are indicated by the red icon • If the user does not have international permission, the Group can still be added but only the domestic Contacts will get the fax

  6. Finding a Contact • Type any string in the search box… and click the search icon… • It searches through Contacts that belong to the container listed • You might need to choose a different container from the drop-down box • Your Administrator has restricted your access to only the containers listed • “All Contacts” refers to all the contacts in all the containers you have access to

  7. That’s it. You have completed this self-paced module.
