Background • สิ่งที่ทำให้ต้องเปลี่ยน Release เป็น 2007 มีสาเหตุจาก • ปัญหาต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นใน release 2006 ทางบริษัทฯ แจ้งว่าได้แก้ไขแล้วใน release 2007 • มีการเปลี่ยนเครื่องแม่ข่ายใหม่ เพราะเครื่องแม่ข่ายเดิมที่มีอยู่ไม่สามารถรองรับการเข้าใช้งานโปรแกรมระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติที่ใช้อยู่ในปัจจุบันได้ และเครื่องแม่ข่ายใหม่มีความพร้อมที่จะรองรับ Release 2007 • Feature ต่างๆ ใน Release 2007 สามารถอำนวยความสะดวกในการทำงานมากขึ้น

Other Problem • ภาษาไทยที่ใช้กับเครื่องยืมหนังสือด้วยตนเองยังไม่มีการเปลี่ยนเป็น Unicode • จำนวน byte ของตัวอักษรภาษาไทยระหว่า TIS-620 และ Unicode ที่ไม่เท่ากันทำให้การตรวจสอบระเบียนซ้ำ หรือการพิมพ์ Content ไม่เท่าเดิม ซึ่งจะไม่พบปัญหานี้ในตัวอักษรภาษาอังกฤษ • TIS-620 : 8 bit encoding (1 byte) • Unicode : 16 bit encoding(2 byte)
