  3. Safety Notes Any grocery or household compounds that are used for a purpose other than which they were intended for are to be considered chemicals. Isopropyl alcohol is a flammable liquid and is toxic by ingestion and inhalation.

  4. Investigative Questions • What did the egg represent? • Do you have rubbing alcohol in your house? • What would happen to your eye if some alcohol splashed into it?
