  2. Genre Genre, the term absorption for ‘variety’ is the division of a particular art form or speech according to the criteria appropriate for the form. In all types of art, the genre is a categorization with no clear boundaries.

  13. Lyric or Poetry Poetry is one of many literary works tied to rhythm, rhyme, stanza, array and characterized by solid language. Poetry is also a written art that uses language as its aesthetic quality or beauty Poetry is divided into two namely old poetry & new poetry.

  14. Old and New Poetry Old Poetry is a poem that is bound by certain rules. These rules include: Number of words in a row; Number of lines in one stanza; Rhyme (taxation); The number of syllables in each line; And rhythm. New poetry is a poem that is not bound by the rules so it is more free from the old poetry, either in terms of the number of syllables, lines, or poems.

  16. Drama Drama is a literary work written in the form of dialogue and with the intent to be demonstrated by the actor. Staging drama script can be known by the term theater. Drama can also be said as a story that is exhibited on stage and based on a script. There are three types of drama namely: based on the presentation of drama script, based on the means, and based on the existence of the drama script.

The first essay was published is A Dinner at Poplar Walk, in December 1833 at Monthly Magazine.Another work by Charles Dickens was PickwikPapper (1836) completed in 1837. In 1838 he wrote Oliver Twist and then continued with Nicholas Nickleby. The success of these two books led him to work with his new works.
