  3. We also use más / menos + adjective+ que to make comparisons • Las manzanas son más deliciosas que el asparago. • Yo soy menos bonita que mi hermana. Formula 1

  4. The adjectivesagreewith the nounstowhichtheyrefer. • The adjectives bueno, malo, viejo and joven have irregular forms and we do not use que withthem Remember!

  5. Bueno, good, mejor, better • Malo, bad, peor, worse • Viejo, old, mayor, older • Joven, young, menor, younger * To make these plural just ad “es” * Irregularities

  6. To say someone is “the most” of a group, we use the definite article + noun + más+ adjective • To say something is “the best” or “the worst,” we use el/la mejor and el/la peor, these come before the noun Los superlativos

  7. Los elefantes son los animales más grandes en el zoológico. • Yo soy la mejor profesora. • Robin Williams es el mejor actor del año. • Ella es la menos deportista de la clase. Examples

  9. To compare things that are the same, we use • Tan + adj.+ como • In English we use as…as • Elena es tan alta como su madre • Elena is as tall as her mum. Comparisons of Equality

  10. Youknow that we use Tan + adj.+ como to make equal comparisons of people or things. To make the same kind of comparison with nouns, we use tanto(a)+ noun + como • Since tanto is anadjective, itagrees in number and genderwtih the noun. More, more, more!

  11. Rosa es tan elegante como su prima. • Rosa is as elegant as her cousin. • Tiene tanto dinero como su prima. • She has as muchmoney as her cousin. • Compra tantas blusas como faldas. • Shebuys as manybouses as skirts. Examples
