  2. Recruiter Day Goals • Enable recruiters to efficiently generate high awareness and interest among first year MBAs • Enable students to efficiently learn about a large number of recruiting organizations with no academic conflicts STUDENTS RECRUITERS

  3. Action Items • Submit 10-12-minute Recruiter Day presentation by November 1 • Return video release form signed by presenter by Recruiter Day • To cmcrecruiting@gsb.stanford.edu

  4. In 10-12 minutes, generate student interest in your organization so that they will want to meet you at the CNN. Presentation Goal

  5. First-Year Stanford MBA Profile • Very accomplished professionally and academically • Very intelligent. Able to process information quickly • Thinks strategically and expects strategic communications • 0 – 13 years of experience

  6. The Organization Mission Management expertise Industry leadership Growth Innovation Culture GSB-friendly Highlight alumni Social impact/green The Job Impact Mentorship Access to management Positions well for future opportunities Opens doors Leads to “General Management” Equity upside Things that matter to students

  7. Summer Job Info to Include • Specific jobs that you’re recruiting for • Opportunities for international students? • Opportunities in international locations? Requirements/restrictions? • Is summer job required in order to get full-time job? • If student is interested in company, will you help him/her network into other non-OCR roles?

  8. Don’t Include • Interview dates and deadlines • List of all GSB alumni • Contact information • Lots of details • More than 7 slides

  9. Most Important Advice • Don’t assume students know about your organization • Address possible wrong impressions. If unsure, ask us • Highlight things that students will value • If there’s public negative news, be prepared to address it
