User name is your UDT name.That is, your e-mail address without “@norman.k12.ok.us” For example: lchesley lchesley Note: Password for “NEW” teachers is: n0rm@n14. n0rm@n You will be prompted to change your password. Choose a password, 8 or more characters with a symbol or number.

  9. Setting Preferences Whoa!!! - It’s Important we do this now!!! • Click on the Admin Module. • Click on the Preference Tool. • Check any/All boxes except the last one. • Click SAVE! • Click Mass Assign to multiple classes. • Check the Check all box. • SAVE again!!!

  10. Save Your Work Often! This site is essentially “under construction” at all times. If you make a change, please save it, if a prompt comes up asking if a change should be saved, please click on save.

  11. Type in the beginning of the student’s last name or… Navigation - Student To search for a student, from the main screen select Search Select Advanced Search to refine your search This opens up a larger query to refine your search.

  13. Student - Roster Roster From Index, Under Instruction Click on Roster This view shows all students in this section. Student names can be clicked on to bring you to the Student General Tab. Any flags are displayed. Teachers can click on the Portal View to review what is viewable by parents.

How are we doing? • Infinite Campus has many pieces to it’s puzzle. • As a teacher you will be responsible for… • Attendance • Grades • Referrals • That’s it! • As you learn more about Infinite Campus’ capabilities and become a more comfortable user, it will evolve into a rather impressive tool for you!

  16. Infinite Campus Just Click It! Just wait to enter and save anything!

  17. Attendance (Page 1 of 5) If you have classes or sections for which you need to take attendance, they will show up in yourProcess Inbox. Click on the link to the class.

  18. Attendance (page 2 of 5) • If everyone is present, just click on the save button. You must open the attendance window and click on the save button so that the attendance clerk will recognize that you have taken attendance. • To mark a student absent, click on the radio button across from the student’s name in the Acolumn. • To mark a student tardy, click on the radio button across from the student’s name in the T column. • Click SAVE when done.

Attendance (page 3 of 5) • If you want to communicate something about the student’s absence to the attendance clerk or to remind yourself about it later, type it in the comment box. • If a student’s absence has already been noted by the attendance clerk, the student’s name will be grayed out and you will not be able to change the attendance for that student. • Do not forget to S A V E! Your attendance marks will be lost if you leave this screen without saving.

  20. Log back into Infinite Campus. ExpandInstruction ClickAttendance Attendance (page 4 of 5) You CANNOT change attendance for a prior day. You CAN make corrections to attendance you have recorded earlier in the current day!

  22. Lesson Planner Pg 20-22 Lesson Planner From Index, Under Instruction Click on Lesson Planner Video Resource Semesters, Groups, Activities and Assignments are created here. If you set up one group in a Semester it can then be copied other Semester. Groups i.e. Test, Quizzes, Homework, Projects… Activities i.e. Civil War Test, Chapter 2 Homework, Microscope Quiz, Campaign Project.

  24. Lesson Planner Pg 20-22 New Groups Page 3 of 5 Select New Group Weigh each group as you are used to. Test = weight Quizzes = weight Homework = weight Projects = weight SAVE Test 50

  25. Lesson Planner Pg 20-22 New AssignmentsPage 4 of 5 Video Resource 2 Select New Assignment Give your New Assignment a Name. The weight should carry over from your preferences

  26. Lesson Planner Pg 20-22 Copy Lesson Plan Page 5 of 5 Video Resource 3 Lesson Planner From Index, Under Instruction Click on Lesson Planner Select Lesson Plan Copier All Periods will be open to copy to by just checking them off. Assignments etc can be modified after copying in your Gradebook.

  27. Grade Book Teachers can right click in group to bring up the New Assignment function Video Resource Teachers can simply fill in needed information from the new screen that comes up. Easy!

  28. Flags (Cheating, Extra Points…) Right Click on the grade within the group to open up the Flag choices Check which Flag is needed Remember that this is viewable in the Portal View
