All In Coaching- April 19 • Reporting Processes • Paperwork • Use correct pad- check before game • Must be filled out correctly • Ensure it has gone through to all copies • Ensure it is checked by all umpires (teamwork) • Club Officials • Ensure club officials (& others) wait outside umpires rooms until paperwork complete • Explain report charge to officials (preferably all at once) before giving all clear • Do not ellaborate other than what I on Report form • Do not discuss with anyone after this point other than GFUL members

All In Coaching- April 19 • Incident Review (GFL seniors) • Match Day Process • Umpire duties relating to Reporting as normal • DOU review- uncertainty • Video Review • Significant incident(s) • Off ball/ Stretcher/ Significant melee/ no vision as team • Detailed information of incident(s) • Match/ Time/ Umpire/ Type of incident • Information- players/ clubs/ league/ DOU • Player notification (if required)/ Match Report & all clear/ DOU call post match

All In Coaching- April 19 • Tribunal Evidence • Example • Report was made on April 19 at Leopold Football Ground • The incident took place on center wing on the Grandstand side of the ground around 15min into the 3rdqtr • Player 21 from Leopold had was moving forward slightly to take possession of the ball that was rolling slowly towards him. His opponent was within 2m directly behind him. • As Player 21 from Leopold was attempting to pick up the ball from the ground when struck front on by Player 4 from St Albans who approached from front on • No other players were in the vicinity of the incident

All In Coaching- April 19 • Tribunal Evidence • Example • My position to the incident was 15-20m side on (toward center of ground) • From my position to the incident contact was made front on to the head and shoulders of Player 21 from Leopold • The contact caused Player 21 from Leopold to fall backwards to the ground clutching his head • Player 21 from Leopold was moving slowly forward in his attempt to possess the ball on the ground and the contact from Player 4 from St Albans was made at a rate 5 times faster than that of the Player 21 from Leopold

All In Coaching- April 19 • Tribunal Evidence • Example • A melee involving 6-8 players resulted from the incident. • Once the melee dispersed Player 4 from St Albans was informed that he was reported for forceful front on contact and asked if he understood the charge. He was then sent from the ground through a Yellow card. • Leopold Player 21 was taken from the ground by trainers following the incident and a teammate took the free kick awarded.

Repeat evidence provided if required.
