  2. Our Address • The Royal Athenaeum Pierre Paulus is situated in 100 Gaux street, 6200 Châtelet, in Belgium.

  3. Who was Pierre Paulus? • Pierre Paulus was a painter, He was born in Charleroi on the 16th of March 1881 and he died in Brussels on the 17th of August 1959. He is famous for having painted the Walloon flag and landscapes of our dark cities.

  4. The nature in our school • It’s the only school which has its own park in our city. • We have 1 football field and 2 futsal fields. • We also have a puddle with different plants.

  5. The Sections • There are three sections: pre-school, primary and secondary. • In secondary, you have the choice between: general and technical options.

  6. The sections • In the technical section you have: Plastics processing industry, accounting, mechanics and commercial. • In the general section you have: sciences, languages, economy, history, social sciences…

  7. The philosophical choice • In our school like in each Athenaeum you must choose a philosophical course. There are 4 possibilities: • Catholicism • Protestantism • Islamic religion • Morals or ethics

  12. Some old and famous students Some other people studied in our school : Jean-michel Zecca is a TV presenter on the Belgian TV. Silvio Proto is a footballer. He plays in the R.S.C. Anderlecht. François De Brigode is a journalist on the Belgian TV. He is presenting the news.
