  2. Animal Family • Owls belong to the bird family. Owls mostly spend their time awake at night. • Barn owl

  3. Habitat Owls live in the woods and forests. Owls live in nest and tree holes. An owl nest is made of mud, grass, and branches.

  4. Family Life Owls hunt for their babies. They feed the babies worms. Owls do not hunt in packs. They hunt alone.

  5. Diet • Owls eat rats , small birds, and voles. • Voles are kind of like moles.

  6. Predators/Prey • An owl is a predator for frogs, small birds, mice and voles. Owls are birds that huntprey not like most birds.
