  2. CROAZIA COMENIUS DAY 10-11-08 The teachers from Today has been a very beautiful day. In the school auditorium the students of our school have sung and played music. At the beginning we were a bit sad because only some of us could play for our foreigner guests coming from all over Europe for the Comenius Project Meeting. Then our teacher of Italian, Mrs. Terenzi, has given us good news. All of us could go down to the auditorium! At that moment we have been in the seventh heaven, not only because we could miss a class but because we could meet teachers from different European countries and this have made us very happy. All the songs have been really extraordinary. When we have come back to the classroom some Danish teachers have come to see us. They were really fantastic and very nice. We really like Denmark and we also appreciate a Danish writer very much: Andersen, who wrote a very famous fairy-tale “ The Little Mermaid”. They have told us there is a little statue of the Mermaid in Copenhagen. These teachers have spoken about their country, they have pointed out that Denmark looks like a clown. In my opinion Denmark looks like a smoker, but in Richard’s opinion looks like a clown. We have been talking a lot in the class and we appreciated the way they ask their students for silence clapping their hands rhythmically. Then they have left and we have carried on with our lessons.

  3. Today, 10th November 2008, some foreign teachers coming from all over Europe are visiting our school. This visit was planned for the Comenius Project 2008-9. Actually these teachers arrived in Pesaro yesterday and after a good night rest in a hotel, they were ready for a cheerful day with the Italian students. Of course our school ( teachers and students involved) have organized a wonderful concert during which our school mates have played and sung various songs. It was marvellous! I hope that the foreign guests have appreciated it as well. Among them some Danish teachers have come into our classroom to have a conversation in English, the language used for the cultural exchange among the countries. To tell the truth, it has been a really interesting conversation, and even if I couldn’t understand all of it, it has been really enjoying. Besides they have told us a fairy-tale about the elfs by C. Andersen, and about one of his most famous fairy-tales “ The Little Mermaid”. Our teacher has told us that this year we will read a story about the elfs. The title is “ The last elf” by Silvana De Mari. Apart from some little problems of understanding, this experience has been extremely interesting thanks to those people who have worked together. THANK YOU COMENIUS PROJECT! LUCA MARINELLI LUCA'S IMPRESSIONS

  4. REALLY A FAB DAY!!! Yesterday, some teachers coming from various European Schools arrived in Pesaro. Today , 10-11-2008, they have visited us at school. They have been welcomed by our deputy Headteacher, Mrs. Ivarita Statera, around 8.15. The students have prepared a concert for them. We have had the feeling they have appreciated it. Omar,Gaia,Maria Chiara,Edoardo,Ambra,Chiara and I have played the guitar, the keyboard and the violin. Some of us have sung songs, too. All was well on the whole! When the concert has finished, we have welcomed three Danish teachers into our classroom. It has been a little complicated to understand everything they were saying because they were talking very fast. They have told us a lot of things about their country, besides some typical fairy-tales like the Little Mermaid and a particular story about an elf. We have really enjoyed it a lot and learnt a lot of interesting things. So………….. UP THE COMENIUS PROJECT VIVA IL PROGETTO COMENIUS !!

They left for Wales and visited a lot of nice places.. This was the beginning of the story……..”At last the time has come! They cried! After a long journey they finally arrived in Wales where they were warmly welcomed by Mrs Claire Brown and the Headteacher Mr Mark Jones. The evening they went to bed the first night they were still unaware of what was going to happen the following days but now they can testify they visited wonderful places and met wonderful families who gave them the warmest welcome making this experience unforgettable!
