  3. Digital Access Digital Access is the ability for everyone to have access to the internet no matter where they live.

  4. Digital Communication The electronic way to exchange information. The expanding communication is changing everything, allowing you to keep in constant communication all over the world. Ex. Talking to a friend across the globe using Facebook, Skype, or Email.

  5. Digital Literacy Ability to use technology for different reasons such as communication and looking up Information daily. Ex. Having a pen pal across the globe, and instead of writing a letter and waiting for it to be received, just Email and it takes seconds.

  6. Digital Security and Safety A persons safety online, also what Precautions could be taken to insure safely on the internet. ** The internet is open to everyone, so you can protect yourself by remembering not to share all of your personal information like Email, whereabouts, phone numbers.

  7. DigitalEtiquette Rules to follow while accessing the internet. Its just as important to treat others with courtesy and respect as it is in real life.

  8. Digital Rights and Responsibilities This is when you see something bad and report it. It is to be responsible online and to not let things like online bullying, theft, and fraud get out of hand. It is one of your responsibilities as a Digital Citizen to help keep cyberspace safe.

  9. Digital Commerce Electronic buying and selling of goods.

  10. Digital Law Electronic responsibilities for actions; either ethical or unethical. Unethical- Copying unlicensed photos for a project. Ethical- Citing sources.

  11. Digital Health & Wellness Keeping all ages away from physical or psychological harm. Example Teens need to be aware of the predators online Overusing sites like Facebook

  12. Being educated on the nine aspects of Digital Citizenship, you are free to be responsible, safe, and aware citizens of the web!
