  2. Setting • The setting is at a boarding school in the south. It was august and it was warm and sunny outside. If the setting were different it would change the story a lot. For instance, if it weren't at a boarding school, then the whole concept would change.

  4. Conflict • The problem is that the principal doesn’t want Amanda at her boarding school so she makes Amanda do these outrageous things to try to get her to leave but Amanda never leaves.

  5. Summary • Amanda finally gets to go to the boarding school of her dreams but she also gets to go a year earlier then the age accepted. But the principal doesn’t like her so she tells her she has to do all these outrageous things to stay hoping she will leave but Amanda never fails and she never gives up.

  7. Point of View • The point of view is in 1st person. And you can very easilly tell this by the words the author uses to make it 1st person. The author uses “I” a lot witch makes it 1st person .

  8. Symbolism • Include a visual aide that is symbolic of the book. Explain in detail the symbolism and how it affected the story.

  9. Recommendation • I think that people should read this book because it is very interesting and its one of those books that you don't want to stop reading. When you read it, it always leaves you thinking what's going to happen next?
