  2. The Vizhinjam International Port which is one of the key ports to be under the control of the Adani Group is currently trying to accelerate to full operations. With this port becoming operational, the Adani Group's hold over the international port sector will increase. The global conglomerate will also be able to bring about a drastic increase in its cargo volume. This will further lead it towards growth and prosperity. The Adani Group's business will also be taken to new heights within a very short period. The Adani Group Controversies will also subside.

  3. Adani Group Accelerates The Operations Of The Vizhinjam Port It has already enabled swift cargo movement. The port has also achieved greater speed by handling cargo from three ships simultaneously. Recently, three feeder vessels from the world's largest shipping company, the Mediterranean Shipping Company, arrived and unloaded cargo at the berth. MSC Sujin, MSC Somin, and MSC Tiger F docked at Vizhinjam. The completed 800m long berth required 700m of space for the berthing of three ships simultaneously.

  4. The Current Status Of The Vizhinjam Port The trial run for the port began on 11 July with the arrival of Maersk's San Fernando vessel. The port has also recently started operating as a commercial port. So far, around 110 ships have arrived at the port most of which were MSC vessels. The government expects the container handling capacity of this port to reach 30 lakh annually by the completion of the next phase in 2028. Until 2034, only GST will be received by the state.
