  2. Road Captain Designation Name has successfully completed the Road Captain Personnel Qualification Standards and may assume any positions of leadership in organized group rides. With the knowledge gained in this process, the Road Captain agrees to help: • Establish and enforce safe practices and plans for each group ride. • Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage and obedience of traffic laws. • Ensure motorcycles in the group are safe to ride using TCLOCS. • Educate riders on the dynamics, hazards and expectations while riding in a group. • Identify hazards, plan a strategy and take or communicate actions that will mitigate the risks. • Ensure that each rider takes full responsibility for their own ride and behavior. • Inform and update the command on the process of sponsored rides.
