Master Production Scheduling • Master Production Scheduling (MPS) is a manufacturing planning tool that captures information such as customer demand, capacity, inventory levels, material flows, etc., from an organization, and then helps determine what the organization should produce and when. Essentially, MPS is a tool that determines what, when, and how many things a manufacturing company should produce. It helps organizationsin achieving a very influential and prominent planning functionality to deliver the most accurate production plans. • Below are the main benefits associated with Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
