  1. Which Carbide Cut Should I Choose? Single or Double Cut?

  2. Carbide burrs also are called tungsten carbide burrs; they’re made from tungsten carbide and have different shapes and textures(which are engraved by a CNC machine). According to different textures, the tungsten carbide burrs are often classified into two types: Single-cut and Double-cut. There is four main difference between single-cut and double-cut carbide burrs.

  3. Which Carbide Burr Should I Choose? Single cut (one flute) carbide burrs have a right-handed (up cut) spiral flute. A single cut is employed with chrome steel, hardened steel, copper, forged iron, and ferrous metals and can remove material quickly with a smooth finish. • Heavy removal of fabric • Milling

  4. Cleaning • Creates long chips • Deburring Use double-cut for medium-light stock removal, deburring, finishing, and cleaning. Double cut carbide burrs are the hottest and work for many applications. • Medium-light removal of fabric • Deburring • Fine finishing • Cleaning • Smooth finish • Creates small chips
