  2. James Watt was born on January 19,1736 in Greenock, Scotland. In his teens, James worked for a mathematical instrument maker company for about 7 years.

  3. After 7 years of making math tools James decided to find a new job. So one day he was walking on the streets trying to find a knew job. Later, a man that he did not know named John Anderson walked up to him and asked him to help him with something. James asked him what it was he needed help with fixing John Anderson said he needed help fixing his invention called the steam engine. James watt obviously did not know what the steam engine was of course because it was a knew invention.

  4. The steam engine was all ready built, it just had a lot of things wrong with it and it did not work. So James helped him fix it. But it was not easy due to little knowledge due to health. It took James watt nearly 6 years of not giving up to get the finishing product.

  5. The steam engine is now made more fancy, made in different colors, and in many different sizes. It is used for trains, boats, and to power engines.

  6. At the age of 83, James watt past away.
