Angels sent for missions. Angel Gabriel appeared to St .Mary. In the town of Nazareth there lived a girl named Mary, she was an ordinary girl but loved God very much. One day she was alone praying , she saw a stranger standing infront of her. Before she could say a word, the man spoke:

  2. Angel Gabriel appeared to St .Mary • In the town of Nazareth there lived a girl named Mary, she was an ordinary girl but loved God very much. • One day she was alone praying , she saw a stranger standing infront of her.

  3. Before she could say a word, the man spoke: • “I am Gabriel , one of God’s messenger-angels.” • I have a message for you from God. • Mary felt scared, but the angel told her not to be frightened.

  4. God has chosen you for a very special honour. • You are to be the mother of God’s promised King. The baby will be God’s own Son.

  5. Angel appeared to the Shepherds • The day Jesus was born , there were some shepherds sitting on a hill looking after their flocks. • The night was dark and ever thing was quiet.

  6. Then suddenly there was a blaze of light so bright , and out of the brightness came the voice of God’s messenger- angel. • Don’t be afraid. I have come with good news for you and all the world.

  7. The saviour has come He was born today in Bethlehem. You will find the baby asleep in a manger. • Then the shepherds saw a great crowd of angels, all singing praises to God.

  8. An Angel came to Joseph • After Jesus was born, an angel came to Joseph in a dream. • “ Get up , quickly ,he said you must take Mary and the baby to Egypt untilli tell you it is safe to leave.

  9. So Joseph took St. Mary and baby Jesus to Egypt and they stayed there for three years.
