Spacecraft: Any vehicle (piloted or un-piloted) designed to travel beyond the Earth’s atmosphere. Telescope: A device used to view (optical telescope) or other-wise obtain information (radio telescope) about distant objects. • Copy this challenge question: “List the three most important events in space exploration. Explain why each is on your list.”
