State Vocational School for Industry and Craftsmanship The IPSIA “Primo Levi” school organizes courses 3 - or 5- years with programmes, teachers and laboratories based on long experience and thorough knowledge of the social and working environment The school provides professional competences appreciated by the world of works as well as a broad cultural curriculum which gives the students the opportunity to attend the last two year courses and get the diploma in order to attend further education courses or the university The school provides vocational training in different areas such as ·       Mechanical ·       Thermic ·       Electrical ·       Electronic ·       Telecommunication ·       Chemical- Biological ·       Fashion

POF Course Aims The school aims to take care of the growth of individual personality as well as of the professional abilities which are needed in the world of work • preventing school leaving motivating the pupils to the study, engaging them more into school projects like legality, health etc • refreshing courses for teachers • activities planned and monitored by tutors for the integration of students. vocational training • projects to help students with special needs • activities able to meet both the request of the job market in the area and the expectations of the parents. Particular importance is given to vocational course activities, to the training in firms and to cultural exchanges. A very important goal in the international field is the cooperation with partner schools in Europe. This gives the students the opportunities to build up a personal, professional and European identity.

Alice & Pinocchio Projects (for students in the 1st and 2nd classes) These two projects have been realized for four years and the handicraft products, made by students with special needs, are shown in the exhibition entitled “ In the wonderful world”. Students are deeply involved to work together with their schoolmates and teachers of the fashion area
