GIS offers a variety of Arabic learning materials for students who want to study Arabic. We offer a range of subjects including Islamic Studies, Social Studies, and Arabic Language for students. Our curriculum ensures that students receive the most comprehensive Arab culture education possible. We also offer many competitions throughout the year to reinforce the importance and love of the Arabic language: Spelling Bee, Quran, Hadith, Creative Writing, Reading, Poem Writing, and more.<br>

  2. ABOUT US • Greenfield International School is a private, international school in Dubai Investment Park, established in 2007 and following the IB curriculum since 2011. GIS is managed by the Taaleem group, with education for children from Pre-K to Grade 12. • There are only a few schools in the world that are authorized to offer all four IB Programmes, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP), as well as the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) in conjunction with the BTEC program. • GIS is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). • Greenfield International School has been rated "Outstanding" by Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority.

ARABIC LEARNING • Arabic Learning Programme • Since learning the country’s host language is a valuable opportunity for all international students and based on the requirements of KHDA and the Ministry of Education, Arabic lessons are compulsory from KG1 through Grade 9 at GCS. The students attend either Arabic A or Arabic B classes depending on whether they learn Arabic as a native or foreign language. In Secondary school non-Arab students may select Arabic A or B as part of the regular curriculum for Grades 10, 11 and 12. • Arabic A that is meant for students with Arabic as their native languageArabic B is for all Non-Arabs and for other students with Arabic as their 2nd language.
