The Dress Code. Shoulder straps have to be a minimum of three finger-widths. Spaghetti Straps. Tube Tops. The minimum length of the short/skirt must fall between the tip of your longest finger and the top of your knee, when standing with your arms at your sides. Short Shorts/Skirts.

  4. The minimum length of the short/skirt must fall between the tip of your longest finger and the top of your knee, when standing with your arms at your sides Short Shorts/Skirts minimum length

  5. Undergarments are to be completely covered by outer clothing, therefore pants/shorts/skirts are to be at waist level. The Waist

  6. No items that are vulgar, obscene, libelous, or denigrates others on matters of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or disability

  7. No items that endorse the use of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs, and/or encourage other illegal or violent activities

  8. No items that depict or suggest association with a gang/cult

  9. This is obviously not a Henninger class… shall not include the wearing of hats or scarves/bandanas, except for a medical or religious purpose

  10. Electronics Any item that may be dangerous or disruptive to the learning environment (ex: electronic games, Walkmans, iPod/MP3players, CD/tape players, beepers, laser pens).

  11. Penalties … Students who violate the student dress code shall be required to modify their appearance by covering or removing the offending items, if necessary or practical, replacing it with an acceptable item. Any student who refuses to do so shall be subject to discipline, up to and including in-school suspension for the day. Any student who repeatedly fails to comply with the dress code shall be subject to further discipline, up to and including out of school suspension. Students who violate the student dress code shall be required to modify their appearance by covering or removing the offending items, if necessary or practical, replacing it with an acceptable item.
