  2. I’ve heard the dress code is changing? We have made some small changes to give you more choice: • You can choose to continue to wear white polo shirts with sweatshirts or cardigans just as now • Or you could wear a black polo shirt • Or you could wear a plain white formal shirt or blouse – with or without a tie • And you can wear a black blazer if you prefer

  3. What about the new badge? • You can carry on wearing your existing polo shirts and jumpers and buy an iron-on or sew-on badge, which will be available in September • Or you can buy plain polo shirts, jumpers, cardigans or blazers and sew or iron on the new badge • Later in the year you will be able to buy new shirts, jumpers and cardigans with the new badge sewn on if you want to

Are there any other changes I need to know about? • We have made it much clearer what we expect you to wear and what is unacceptable. • This is in the planner and was in the latest newsletter • Make sure you are following the dress code or you will have things confiscated, go to CR or be excluded until you get it right

  5. Acceptable items of dress code are: Shirts / Blouses • Plain white or black polo shirt with da Vinci badge • Plain white formal shirt • Plain white formal blouse

  6. Acceptable items of dress code are Trousers / Skirts • Plain black formal trousers • Plain black skirt of at least knee length • Plain black tailored shorts of at least knee length • Plain black culottes

  7. Acceptable items of dress code are Over garments • Plain black sweatshirt with da Vinci badge • Plain black pullover with da Vinci badge • Plain black cardigan with da Vinci badge • Plain black tailored jacket with da Vinci badge • Plain black blazer with da Vinci badge

  8. Acceptable items of dress code are Footwear • Plain black flat footwear (not sandals) Jewellery and make-up (you may be asked to remove these items in practical subjects) • 1 pair of stud earrings • 1 watch • Minimal make-up

  9. Items that must not be worn in the school building. Any students wearing these items will either: have the items confiscated; be isolated in the Consequence Room or Seclusion; or be refused entry to school • Facial piercings of any kind other than one pair of earrings • Spacers • Any logo or writing on clothing other than the da Vinci badge • Any footwear that is not completely black • UggBoots or boots of a similar design of any colour

  10. Items that must not be worn in the school building. Any students wearing these items will either: have the items confiscated; be isolated in the Consequence Room or Seclusion; or be refused entry to school • Leggings • Jeggings • Jeans • Jean style trousers • Skirts shorter than knee length

Any students wearing these items will either: have the items confiscated; be isolated in the Consequence Room or Seclusion; or be refused entry to school • Hoodies • Sweatshirts or pullovers that are not plain black • Hats of any kind • Outdoor coats • Head phones

  12. Hair/eyebrows • Hair must not have shaved patterns/tramlines. • Eyebrows must not be partially shaved • If hair is coloured it must be natural colours
