  1. System Commissioning

  2. System Activation • System activation requires the execution of the following steps: • Commissioning • Base Station radio parameters configuration • SU radio parameters configuration • Network Entry • SU Authentication with RADIUS Server (Optional) • SU registration with the Base Station • Services provisioning • Defining users operation terms • Allowing users operation, based on predefined service terms

  4. S/W Features Radio Parameters Configuration • The following parameters must be configured in order to establish an air link between AU and SU (Network Entry successfully completed) • Cluster (via NPU) • Radio Cluster ID (1 to 6) • (Radio Cluster) Name • (Radio Cluster) Location • Sector Heading • Sector Beam Width

  5. S/W Features Radio Parameters Configuration • The following parameters must be configured in order to establish an air link between AU and SU (Network Entry successfully completed) • ODU (via NPU) • ODU ID (1 to 24) • Associated Radio Cluster • Configured ODU Frequency Band • TX Power • Admin Status

  6. S/W Features Radio Parameters Configuration • The following parameters must be configured in order to establish an air link between AU and SU (Network Entry successfully completed) • Multi Channel (Per AU via NPU) • Associated ODU • Downlink (TX) Frequency (MHz) • Admin Status • Diversity Mode

  7. System Commissioning Basic (Radio) Parameters Configuration • The following parameters must be configured in order to establish an air link between AU and SU (Network Entry successfully completed) • SU (via SU Ethernet side) • User Name - SU unique name • Password • Base Station ID - Identifier of the base station that the SU is synchronized with • Operator ID • Cell ID • Sector ID • Base Station ID Mask • Bandwidth - signal bandwidth (1.75 MHz/3.5 MHz/5 MHz) • Start Rx Frequency • End RX Frequency • Frequency Main Steps and Intermediate • Select Antenna (0 is external the external antenna)
