FNRI research on the nutritional profile/value of Malunggay 2. NCP research on efficacy of Malunggay leaf powder and Moringa oil in improving the micro-nutrient status of Filipinos

Policy gaps that need to be addressed:1. Good agricultural practices and stringent regulations must be established to maintain the quality (purity) of our local variety 2. Necessary standards and regulations need to be established to guarantee the quality and safety of Malunggay products produced locally

Policy gaps that need to be addressed:3. Clinical trials need to be conducted to gather scientific evidences on the nutritional value of our local variety.4. Feeding trials need to be carried out to substantiate the value of Malunggay dried leaves for animal feeds.
