  2. IN TERMS OF AMCOUNCIL MEMBERS, WHAT DOES THE GLOBAL CERTIFICATION SCHEME MEAN? In an ever-changing and competitive workplace, it may be difficult to distinguish yourself from your coworkers. Professionalism and dedication are important to your company, colleagues, and yourself. It isn't an easy undertaking to say the least. As soon as possible, we should begin the process of global certification. You can boost your career in many ways by obtaining an asset management certification or global certification. An internationally recognized accreditation shows that you're serious about asset management certification. The asset management certification program offers a variety of advantages to the global asset management industry. There are numerous and comprehensive advantages to having your asset management knowledge, skills, and experience validated against a global standard.

HAVING A GLOBAL CERTIFICATION IS BENEFICIAL TO PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS: This certification shows that you have acquired a wide range of asset management expertise from different sources.  Greater accessibility to work  Becomes a member of your local Society and participates in its activities.  Adaptable to a wide range of industries and career paths  Advancement opportunities and higher earning potential can be clearly seen.  Global recognition that may be transferred throughout sectors and countries In the Global Certification Scheme, there are three degrees of designation that an individual can attain.  Certified Senior Principal in Asset Management (CSAM)  Certified Practitioner in Asset Management (CPAM)  Certified Technical Specialist in Asset Management (CTAM) IS THERE HARMONY IN THE GLOBAL CERTIFICATION SYSTEM? For the CPAM, CTSM, and CSAM designations, the AMCouncil certification process will be harmonized with the WPiAM Global Certification Scheme (GCS). As a result, your CPAM, CTSM, and CSAM credentials are now more valuable and widely recognized! WHERE DO I SEND MY GCS APPLICATION? For people who already have CPAM, CTSM, and CSAM certifications, there is no need to re-apply for these credentials. CPAM, CTSM or CSAM certifications achieved under the AMCouncil Certification Scheme are instantly recognized as Asset Management Certification/Global Certification. In order to prove that my certifications in CPAM, CTSM and CSAM are in accordance with the global certification scheme, can I obtain an official certificate? Yes! The AMCouncil will issue a certificate with the Global Certification Scheme emblem when it is time to renew your CPAM, CTSM, or CSAM certification. If you already have a certificate with the AM Council logo on it for the designations of CPAM, CTSM, or CSAM, the Global Certification program will recognize it instantly.

  4. SCHEDULE FOR THE RENEWAL OF GLOBAL CERTIFICATION Certificates are valid for three years from the date of issue. Recertification can be requested up to three years before or up to six months after the expiration date. Recertification is valid for an additional three years beyond the original certificate's expiration date. To renew your certification, please click here or log in to our website and pick the 'Certification' option to apply. Accreditations received through the Asset Management Council can be seen here. A 'Renew' option will be available to you if your certificate is about to expire or has already expired within three years. This will prompt you to confirm the number of CPD points you have achieved since your last certification application. CPD points are vital to keep track of for this reason alone. Access to the log is available here for every member of our organization. Attendance at Asset Management Council events will automatically count toward your point’s total. Other CPD points earned at events not affiliated with the Asset Management Council can be manually entered. Your certificate will be available for download online once payment has been received for your 'Renew' application, provided the required number of CPD points have been collected.
