  1. We are surrounded by light at all times, be it day or night. Lighting, both natural and artificial, affects our mood and lifestyle in many ways even though we may not realize it. Natural light is the kind of lighting that comes from natural sources like sunlight. Natural light is a great source of Vitamin D which is essential for our body and mind. Low exposure to sunlight can cause a lack of this vitamin, which in turn contributes to depression and bone problems in humans. Natural light has the ability to make us happier and reduce symptoms of depression. Natural lighting is brighter than artificial light but it has some limitations. This type of lighting is available only during the daytime. Daylight doesn’t uniformly illuminate a space. Artificial lights are available at any time of the day.
