Vietnam Extends Visa Exemption for Some Europeans

It has been recently decided by the government to extend its visa waiver scheme for visitors from five different countries by another year. Though rejecting effectively the recent push by the industry people for the wider scope available. Even the Vietnam’s tourism advisory board recommended that visa free offer should be extended for the next five years. They also wanted to make the travel period extended from 15 days to 1 month. Even however there are recommendations to extend the E- visa scheme which immigration officials prefer as it offers the opportunity to run checks on visitors before the arrival.

Even however there are recommendations to extend the E- visa scheme which immigration officials prefer as it offers the opportunity to run checks on visitors before the arrival. For various other nations, visa on arrival is also possible with a valid visa approval letter issued by an authorized Vietnamese tour operators such as the Asian trails which made strict criteria’s regarding the entry procedure.

  3. This decision mainly aims to lure more foreign boast of tourist in the country. Many South East Asian countries have simplified their visa procedures to attract the tourists. Even Indonesia also waived the requirement of the free visa on arrival for its own country also. The Government even waiver decisions from these five countries for 1 year starting from the July 1ST YEAR.
