ABOUT KVIC  Establised undre the khadi and village industries commision act 1956 This organisation is engaged in promoting and developing KVI It provides non farm employment opportunities in rural areas and strengthening rural economy MAIN OBJECTIVES A. Social objeactive - providing employment in rural ares B . Economice objective - producing saleable articles C. Wider objective - creating self relince among people anfd building up a small rural community spirit

FUNCTIONS OF KVIC  To plan and organise training of the person employed in KIV To bulid up reserves of raw material and implements and supply them To encourage and assists in the creation of common service facilities To study the problem faced by KVI To promote the sale and marketing of khadi or products of KVI or handicrafts To promote research in the technology used in KVI To promote standers of quality in the KVI products

  4. ORGANISATIONAL SETUPS KVIC is functioning under the ministry of micro , small and medium enterprises ,commonly known os MSME KVIC have there headquater in mumbai 6 zonal offices located in delhi , bhopal , bangaluru , kolkata , mumbai and guwahati 29 state offices
