  1. FERRAN ADRIA             THE CULINARY MASTERPIECE THAT IS Food is about being happy - at a table, that's probably where we spend most of our happiest hours.

  2. 1980'S Ferran first started in the restaurant business in 1980 as a dishwasher at the Hotel Playafels. The chef there taught him his first French cuisine. After ward he was drafted into the military as a cook. He was released in 1984 where he went and worked at elBulli. 1 and a half years later he became a head chef at 19.

  3. 1990'S Ferran and Juli Soler, his partner, sold 20% of their co owned business. Miquel Horta it for 120 million pesetas. Doing so grew the relationship with Horta which gave them the opportunities with other clients. They used the money to expand the kitchen. Because Horta politicians came to the restaurant which spread their name.

  4. 2000-2010'S eBulli was only open for six months of the year. It closes from mid June to mid December. When it was not open they would use the time in what they called the eBulliTaller. They would not make new dish's they would redesign popular ones. As Ferran says "Taking a dish that is well known and transforming all its ingredients, or part of them; then modifying the dish's texture, form and/or its temperature. Deconstructed, such a dish will preserve its essence... but its appearance will be radically di?erent from the original's." On July 30 2011 the restaurant was closed until 2014. It was reopened as a creativity center to foster innovation like his and to give others the opportunities he had. It had 3 Michelin stars as is said to be one of the best restaurants in the world. In 2002 the restaurant was in the top 50 in the world. In 2012 he reveled something new he had been working on. He called it the eBullipedia. It was a haute cuisine Wikipedia.

  5. FUN FACTS The last time he bought shoes was 15 years ago. He has never downloaded music. Ever He is mainly know for food foam and molecular gastronomy His was born on 13 July 1969 in Mieres, Asturias, Spain He dropped out at 18 to immediately become a dishwasher.
