  1. We have a unique way of meeting your travel expectations! We at Travel recipes have short listed the top 5 travel destinations in India for your ease and travel itinerary comfort. The top 5 travel destinations in India: 1)Taj Mahal : This #UNESCOheritage site is special because of its unmatchable beauty which makes it one of the seven wonders of the world.

  2. Some interesting facts about Taj Mahal : - Did you know that viewing the Taj Mahal at night is only available on five days in a month, including a full moon night and two nights before and after the full moon. - The palace contains 120 rooms, a hall of mirrors or ‘sheesh mahal’ and the ‘savon bhadon’ pavilion, an elaborate fountain like structure that simulated the effect of rain. - The main entrance is a seven-storied structure. The Taj Mahal always welcomes each of its visitors with an inscription, written in beautiful handwriting, on the great gate that reads "O Soul, thou art at rest.Return to the Lord at peace with him,and he at peace with you”. Arabic inscriptions in black marble lettering decorate the mausoleum and south gateway. The highly skilled Parchinkari work was developed by mughal artists, however it was taught by itailian craftsmen. - The calligraphy of the Taj Mahal mainly consists of the verses and passages from the holy book of Quran. - The Taj Mahal is about five feet taller than ‘Qutub Minar’, 11th century monument located in new Delhi. - Taj's foundation is made of timber which is not supposed to be long lasting. The wood should weaken overtime and crumble owing to rot and ruin, but that did not happen because the wood is kept strong and moist by the Yamuna river. Besides the royal splendour of Taj, be a witness to many other archaeological sites and take a dive into its rich history.
