Requiring minimal preparations, this eccentric South Indian cuisine makes an absolutely yummy curry with hot steamed rice. To prepare this exclusively special mutton curry, you need: 1 kg mutton, washed and drained (available here) 2 drumsticks, skinned, dig 1 1/2 " pieces and stir-fried for 3 minutes in 2 tsp oil 3 medium-sized onions, finely chopped 2 4 green chillis, slit (adjust) 1 tsp red chili powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp roasted poppy seeds/khus khus/ghasagasalu powder 1 1/2 tbsp oil Garam Masala Powder 1 cinnamon stick 1 tsp cardamom Method of making Munagakaya Mamsam – Mutton Drumstick Curry involves three easy steps: Step 1 Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add the onions and green chillis and saute for 6-7 minutes. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute further for another 4 minutes. Step 2 Add the mutton to the cooker and combine well. Cook on high heat for 7-8 minutes, stirring the meat such that is doesn't burn. Add flavorer , turmeric powder, coriander powder, jeera powder, poppy seeds powder ( Khas Khas), and salt. Now mix everything well. Step 3 Cook on medium heat for 7-8 minutes and add 2 glasses of water. Pressure cook until three to four whistles go off. Remove lid, add garam masala powder and therefore the sauteed
