  1. Foods to Get Healthy Skin and Hair - The Kailon When we mention the word “beauty”, it gives a touchy feeling in the hearts of women. Beauty is something which makes you look attractive; a glow on your face, shiny hair, and a charming smile will make you look gorgeous with your style of dressing. The external beauty will be incomplete if you do not have the healthy skin and hair. A box full of beauty products always leaves a smile on our faces. We invest a lot in the perfect beauty regime in terms of creams, shampoos, serums, conditioners, masks etc. and it is probably required too, to keep our hair, skin and face looking healthy and young. It doesn't matter how much makeup you apply, how many skincare or hair care products you use. If you have dull, damaged skin or hair, there's no way those fixes will work. It's time to start taking a hard look at the nutrients you eat on the daily. A good diet is not just about losing weight; it's about improving your skin, hair and energy levels. It's easier than you might think to eat healthy food for glowing skin and hair. We've rounded up these foods to help you improve your well-being from the inside out!

  2. 1.Avocado Avocado is a rich source of vitamins A, E and B6. It also contains vitamin C and minerals like copper, potassium and manganese. Avocado contains fatty acids that are necessary for healthy hair growth. Your body needs these fatty acids to produce hair cells and repair damaged ones. Avocado oil is a great natural moisturizer that can keep your skin soft and supple. Also, it helps in the process of removing dead skin cells and prevents blackheads. Rub avocado oil on your scalp to give your hair a healthy shine.'' 2.Walnut Walnuts contain essential nutrients and should be included in the diet for healthy skin and hair. They are rich in vitamin E which helps build collagen to keep your skin elastic and plump. According to a study, people who consume walnuts regularly have better looking skin as compared to those who don't eat walnuts. 3.Eggs Eggs are a wonderful source of several proteins, fats and vitamins needed for strong healthy hair and skin. The proteins found in eggs help promote new cell growth which keeps both your scalp and hair follicles healthy. Studies show that women who consume eggs regularly have stronger hair than those who don't. 4.Tropical Fruits Tropical fruits also contain vitamins that help our body to produce more sebum as well as improve overall health. The most notable tropical fruit that can do this is the coconut. The coconut is high in fatty acids which help the body to produce more sebum, so keep eating coconuts! Bananas are also a great source of vitamin A, B-6, and C which are all great for healthy skin and hair. Other tropical fruits good for hair and skin include mangoes, pineapples, papayas and kiwis.

  3. 5.Fatty Fish Fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, herring, lake trout, sardines and tuna contain omega-3 fatty acids which help keep your skin and hair healthy. Omega-3 fatty acids also serve as an anti-inflammatory so they can help reduce the redness associated with rashes and other conditions that affect your skin. 6.Spinach Spinach is next on the list of foods for glowing skin and healthy hair. It contains lots of calcium, magnesium and iron making it an excellent super food for building strong bones. It's also an excellent source of vitamin K which promotes skin cell regeneration, keeping your complexion fresh and youthful. In addition spinach is an excellent source of folic acid which helps your body make new cells, repairing any damage done by the sun or pollution. 7.Tofu Tofu is made from soy beans that are soaked, boiled, fermented, pressed and then formed into blocks. Soybeans are a great source of protein and also provide vitamin E, an important nutrient for healthy skin and hair. A single serving of tofu contains just over 10 grams of protein. 8.Cabbage Cabbage is a rich source of vitamin C which can help to prevent signs of aging like wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots by encouraging collagen production in the body. Cabbage is also full of vitamin K which helps maintain healthy hair growth and protect against dandruff. One cup of cabbage contains more than 100 percent of the daily recommended intake for vitamin K.

  4. 9.Blueberries Blueberries are rich in antioxidants that protect your body from free radical damage. Antioxidants also help eliminate dead skin cells, leaving you with healthy, glowing skin. 10. Tomatoes Tomatoes not only make tasty pizzas or salsa, but they also make for a powerful skincare ingredient. The humble tomato is the secret to a clear and well-protected complexion! Tomatoes are packed with antioxidants that work to slow down the rate of premature signs of aging and protect against sun damage by strengthening the outer layer of skin. And yes stay hydrated! Hydration is the key to healthy skin, hair and nails. Water is a powerful nutrient that plays an important role in every cell, tissue and organ in the body. It helps to regulate body temperature, transports nutrients and oxygen around the body, lubricates joints and organs, removes waste products and it’s vital for brain function and concentration. The body isn’t very good at storing water, so it’s important to drink plenty of fluids every day. Most people can go a whole day without food, but if you don’t drink enough water your muscles will tighten up and your skin will start to look dehydrated. The specific foods you eat can actually have a significant impact on the health of your skin and hair. The key to getting healthy hair and skin is eating a balanced diet that incorporates plenty of colorful fruits and vegetables. A healthy diet for your mind and body will improve the way you feel. Your hair, skin and nails will appear more healthy and radiant when you eat well. Plus, good nutrition will put the sparkle back in your eyes and give you even more reason to smile.
