  1. Pinterest Shares Tips on How to Interact with 'Inspired Shoppers' and Improve Sales Pinterest is an excellent forum for discovering and saving ideas for DIY designs, recipes, decorations, fashion and much more. Pinterest was described as a "curation tool" when it was first released in March 2010, where users were able to "pin" the photos and the details they wanted to save. It has grown to be much more than that today! Pinterest can be a marketing engine for online retailers. Users are more likely to buy items that they find on Pinterest than any other social network. Pinterest is an excellent forum for discovering and saving ideas for DIY designs, recipes, decorations, fashion and much more. Pinterest was described as a "curation tool" when it was first released in March 2010, where users were able to "pin" the photos and the details they wanted to save. It has grown today to be even more than that! Pinterest can be a marketing engine for online retailers. Users are more likely to buy items that they find on Pinterest than any other social network. In reality, Pinterest can replace your local shopping mall in a way, but one with much more options and items that are more unique to your interests. As retailers are adapting to profound changes in household spending, e-commerce has become more critical than ever. Pinterest has published a new study this week on the actions of Pinterest users, and how it leads to purchase action. In reality, Pinterest says 83% of weekly Pinners make a purchase more frequently from a brand based on a Pin and engaged Pinners shop and are willing to try new stuff. Pinterest can be a key opportunity for retailers aggressively seeking to minimise their losses with recent developments such as its authentication scheme and streamlined catalogue uploads. Perhaps not all foot traffic and resulting purchases will be replaced, but most consumers are still looking for products and successful Pinners are certainly ready to buy based on those figures. On April 7th at 11 am PDT, Pinterest is hosting a webinar to help retailers get the most out of their efforts on the platform, so register for this webinar if you're trying to get a clear understanding of where the platform might fit in with your marketing strategy.
