  1. 'Keen' - A New Home to Share your Passion Google has launched a new Pinterest-like application — keen — that will allow users to gather and share ideas, links and resources. Keen, a web and Android app enables users to build a Keen- a board on whatever subject they wish. You can define your preferred topics on Keen, and then curate web content. From baking delicious home-made bread to getting into birding or typography studies, you can make a "keen" about any topic. Share and Cure Keen lets you curate your material, share your set and discover new content based on what you've saved.Users can add images and other tools, invite friends to interact and follow the fascinating "Keens" they find. The keens can be private or public, allowing you to regulate what's shared. After you have set up a Keen for a particular subject or interest, Google will use its sophisticated search algorithms to identify material related to what you have added, highlighting any items that you may want to include in your Keen. Find New Material You can treat 'Keen' on your own, or on behalf of others. The Focused team at Google collaborated closely with another team called People and AI Research (PAIR), committed to human-centric machine learning systems. Even if you aren't an expert on a subject, you can start curating a keen one and save some interesting links that will help. People can also follow the keens created by others, find thousands of hand-curated community- based lists and have updates when new items are added.

  2. Dedicate Time to What You Do The aim of keen is to give you a home for your interests, a place for them to develop and share with your loved one. It isn’t a platform to spend endless hours browsing. However it appears that Google is merely testing the waters and seeing whether users are interested in trying out the app. That seems almost like the aim of these tools - helpful in itself, worth checking out.
